Greyson Chance - Waiting Outside The Lines
Waiting Outside The Lines Greyson Chance
You’ll never enjoy your life,
living inside the box
You’re so afraid of taking chances,
how you gonna reach the top?
Rules and regulations,
force you to play it safe
Get rid of all the hesitation,
it’s time for you to seize the day
Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now
I’m waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I’m waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Try to have no regrets
even if it’s just tonight
How you gonna walk ahead
if you keep living blind?
Stuck in my same position,
you deserve so much more
There’s a whole world around us,
just waiting to be explored
Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now, just let it go
The world will force you to smile
I’m here to help you notice the rainbow
Cause I know,
What’s in you is out there
I’m waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I’m waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
I’m trying to be patient (I’m trying to be patient)
the first step is the hardest (the hardest)
I know you can make it,
go ahead and take it
I’m Waiting, waiting, just waiting I’m waiting
I’m waiting, waiting, just waiting
I’m waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
You’ll never enjoy your life
Living inside the box
You’re so afraid of taking chances,
How you gonna reach the top?
Chance was born on August 16, 1997 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Chance began playing the piano at the age of 8 and has had three years of piano lessons; however, he had no formal vocal training.

Bella Gaia
Kenji

The Power of NOW ~ 當下的力量
You are not your MIND
The moment you observe it, feel its energy within you, and take your attention into it, the identification is broken. A higher dimension of consciousness has come in. I call is presence. You are now the witness or the watcher of the pain-body. This means that is cannot use you anymore by pretending to be you, and it can no longer replenish itself through you. You have found your own innermost strength. You have accessed the power of NOW.
“Everything is shown up by being exposed to the light, and whatever is exposed to the light itself becomes light.” Just as you cannot fight the darkness, you cannot fight the pain-body. Trying to do so would create inner conflict and thus further pain. Watching it is enough. Watching it implies accepting it as part of what is at the moment.
Stay present, stay conscious. Be the ever-alert guardian of your inner space. You need to be present enough to be able to watch the pain-body directly and feel its energy.
Focus attention on the feeling inside you. Do not think about it –do not let the feeling turn into thinking.
Observe the attachment to your pain. Be very alert. Observe the peculiar pleasure you derive from being unhappy. Observe the compulsion to talk or think about it. The resistance will cease if you make it conscious. You can than take your attention into the pain body, stay present as the witness, and so initiate its transmutation.
My mind cannot know you, only labels, judgments, facts, and opinions about you.
The moment you realize you are not present, you are present.
None other than the power of your presence, your consciousness liberated from thoughts forms.
So deal with the past on the level of the present. The more attention you give to the past, the more you energize it, and the more likely you are to make a “self”out of it. Do not misunderstand: Attention is essential, but not to the past as past. Give attention to the present;give attention to your behaviour, to your reactions, moods, thoughts, emotions, fears and desires as they occur in the present. There is the past in you. If you can be present enough to watch all those things, not critically and analytically but nonjudgmentally, then you are dealing the past and dissolving it through the power of your presence. You cannot find yourself by going into the past. You can find yourself by coming into the present.
Whenever an answer, a solution, or a creative idea is needed, stop thinking for a moment by focusing attention on your inner energy field. Become aware of the stillness.
You recognize fully that you want to get out of it. You then narrow your attention down to the present moment without mentally labeling it in any way.
If you cannot except what is outside, than accept what is inside. If you cannot accept external condition, accept the internal condition.
Full attention is full acceptance, is surrender.
Presence removes time. Without time, no suffering, no negativity, can survive.

Once upon a time there was a painter who had just completed his course. He took 3 days and painted beautiful scenery. He wanted people's opinion about his caliber and painting skills.
He put his creation at a busy street-crossing. And just down below aboard which read -"I have painted this piece. Since I'm new to this profession I might have committed some mistakes in my strokes etc. Please put a cross wherever you see a mistake."
While he came back in the evening to collect his painting he was completely shattered to see that whole canvass was filled with Xs (crosses) and some people had even written their comments on the painting.
Disheartened and broken completely he ran to his master's place and burst into tears.
This young artist was breathing heavily and master heard him saying"I'm useless and if this is what I have learnt to paint I'm not worth becoming a painter. People have rejected me completely. I feel like dying"
Master smiled and suggested "My Son, I will prove that you are a great artist and have learnt flawless painting. Do as I say without questioning it. It WILL work."
Young artist reluctantly agreed and two days later early morning he presented a replica of his earlier painting to his master. Master took that gracefully and smiled.
"Come with me. " master said.
They reached the same street-square early morning and displayed the same painting exactly at the same place. Now master took out another board which read -"Gentlemen, I have painted this piece. Since I'm new to this profession I might have committed some mistakes in my strokes etc. I have put a box with colors and brushes just below. Please do a favor. If you see a mistake, kindly pick up the brush and correct it."
Master and disciple walked back home.
They both visited the place same evening. Young painter was surprised to see that actually there was not a single correction done so far. Next day again they visited and found painting remained untouched. They say the painting was kept there for a month for no correction came in!
Moral of the story:
It is easier to criticize, but DIFFICULT TO IMPROVE!
So don't get carried away or judge yourself by someone else’s criticism and feel depressed...
